Multiple Ram issues
I have a Dodge Ram 1500 Pick up which i bought brand new. Ive racked up 170,000 miles. i have a few problems that i need to fix no heat, Broken dash board, transmission and water in the headlight. i would appreciate any help but i will use the search function first. thanks

Have you looked into the plenum issue?
Trannys are known to go bad on these trucks, heat is also an issue... theres a certain way to bleed these trucks of coolant..
dash board...i havent had that problem....yet

2000-2001 were the worst for broken dashboards.
you can fix the water in the headlight by taking it out and sealing the clear plastic to the black plastic with a good glue or silicone. clear is best because you won't see it when you put the headlight back in the truck. also make sure you have a gasket on the bulb. actually, check the bulb gasket first.
a replacement dash from the dealership is about 400$. someone found an oem replacement through ebay for 250-300 that is identical to the original dash. but a lot of people are cheap, like me, and just bust off all the pieces that make noise and put a 100$ cap on it. then there was another guy that used GE Silicone II to glue all the pieces back together then put a cap on. then again, if you still have all the pieces, you could get a good epoxy and glue it back together, sand it smooth then paint it with some flat black krylon.
for the transmission, welcome to the club. you might luck out and just have a bad sensor but you won't know until you describe the problem.
no heat could be a plugged heater core, a stuck actuator door or a vacuum leak. or a thermostat that is stuck open, how hot does the engine get after it's warmed up?

I actually had the same problem with the heat in my 99'. I replaced the thermostat and the radiator cap and she is back to blowing hot air again. see if that helps.

you have the older style dash like mine...the later(98-01) ones were prone to fall apart more..
