Default Axles

Hey I have a question that nobady can seem to answer. I have a 1999 Ram 1500 sport 4x4. I replaced the u-joint for the steeering knuckles and not to long after while 4 wheeling Broke the knuckle and now need a new half shaft. how can I tell what the hell kind of axle I have and need??

go to the dealer and get a build sheet, or it may have a part number, or its labeled under the hood somewhere

i know mine came with a 195mm axle shaft in the front.. thats all my build sheet told me

and it is accully on the hood, up my the latch, there is like a 3X4 or so sticker that rears that it is a d44 axle, but it tells you nothing of whats inside

I would look under the hood but I don't have the original.
I think I'm taking a trip to the dealer today!!
