Rhinolined My ENTIRE Truck w/pics
How is it holding up after a year?
Do you have a glossy look to it in person with aircraft paint?
Was the 2,250 for just the paint, or for spraying the herculiner as well? I have looked around and seen people say theyve got estimates for just the herculiner/linex at $5000 or so. Just curious. I think it's a really neat idea, and maybe would like to do it if it were cost efficient.
Like someone else said, if you took any rust you had and just ground it to bare metal and primered it until it was painted, and then did some sort of undercoating/paint on the undersides of the fenders/rockers etc, you'd have a paintjob that would last forever...It it were reasonably priced it may be worth doing..

Like the idea.
I did my whole truck in the cheaper version of Rinolining. (Look at My Albums)
It's a roll on stuff from Waly World. And it cost me maybe $200-$250 with everything.
I like the idea of being able to fix it right at home, when fender bends or I get some serious scratches. And it looks tough.
Now, what is all with that chrome stuff on the sides???
What for? - I think is for you to see all the rocks that hit sides of the door.
Rhino lining is tough enough without any chrome covers.
Truck looks good, but loose those chrome sticky things - those are ugly

..might see if farmboy has done this yet....
Back on subject... wonder how flexible that stuff is? I have used Herculiner several times and it is pretty flexible. Linex and rhino don't seem nearly as flexible...

Notice my first sentence was asking how it had held up over the last year.
Unfortunately, didn't know that part.
Since I bought the diesel I haven't been around as much as I used to be. Haven't been keeping tabs.
Was curious on how much it ended up costing and how it held up since.
