My mpg's went up when I installed a Fastman and a better air intake. gained almost 2 mpg. Others have reported similar gains. Those were some of my very first mods, and I was getting 16mpg mixed city/hwy.

Its a great mod. Really improved throttle response. I highly recommend it.

Probably has enough cores and not selling many of them nowadays. Our trucks are 10+ yrs old!

Back when I bought mine, he was desperate for cores. Wonder if the end is near.

he told me that they're easily available now a days and that he sells the modified throttle bodies so cheap (compared to a billet throttle body) that the core isn't worth the trouble.

I also recommend it. Did exactly what Silver did, "modded" intake and Fastman TB at the same time. Very nice upgrade. Its not night and day or anything like a programmer an be, but you will definitely feel the improvement a little bit. I didn't gain much, if any, MPG because I can't keep my foot out of it now.

While I had it out, I threw on the Hughes plenum reinforcement kit. New plate, new gasket. Solved my leaking plenum issue.
