Default LSD Special Fluid

Ok my truck came with LSD from the factory its a 96', I got it from my dad and since I have been driving it, it will only lock up both tires every once in awhile(Drifting while turning left, in mud, and just noticed while powerbraking).
The question is does anyone make a differential fluid that promotes warn clutches to catch.
Just want a temporary fix that'll last untill I buy my locker

That's the way a limited slip is supposed to work. It isn't a locker or posi. Clutch actuation happens when one wheel starts to spin and exerts pressure on the clutch pack causing it to engage and apply traction to both wheels. Power braking can often accelerate this action.

I understand what your saying but somedays it will take awhile for it to engage or not engage at all at first I thought it was completely shot, but the clutches are just warn

If the clutches are worn it will have trouble engaging and no fluid will fix that. Mine is still working great at 105k miles because I change the fluid every 20k and always use synthetics with the proper LSD additive.

Yep, got to make sure you use the friction modifier. You can pick it up at most any automotive store.

75W-140 Synthetic. Valvoline or Mobil 1 can be bought at any parts store.
