Quote: I havnt used my track bar in years. The added flex was WAY worth the added (very minimal) leaning in the turns.

Quote: Yeah, they squirt it in there at 30mph,call it paved, and take the tax money and run.
or they do a quick run with that tiny gravel crap that chips your paint and glass and the people that drive on those roads have to grind it into the pavement.

chip & seal is what we call it in Indiana...and we HATE it

hell the road our muck fields are on, they do that every few years it seems...

...pretty soon, i'm gonna have to lay a complaint to the highway deparment, b/c they never grind it down beforehand, and our 'new' disk is so tall in with with the wings folded, i have to lower it to ground level to make it under the Toll Road overpass

at least they cover up stuff in the road for you guys. i live in the heart of a big city, on the coast and the roads are like a checkard board. cars ligned up on both sides of the streets. pothole after pothole, and theres no way to get around them cuz cars are p[arked on both sides of the streets. Me, my fiancee, My fiancees mom, and a guy i work with have all popped their tires within the past 6 months in the same 1/4 mile section lol.

olyelr, i thought you took your sway bar off. when i had my track bar disconnected, the entire axle shifted toward the drivers side. or the truck shifted toward the passenger side since the axle was on blocks, however you want to look at it.

LMAO! Yeah, definitely don't listen to the goof who said that. Removing the tack bar is definitely not recommended if the truck will be driven.... or even setting on the front axle with no jack stands.

I meant sway bar. Sorry about that fellas

Yeah, that for sure is not recommended.

But don't worry, I sure wouldn't be driving around your truck like that anyway... I'd be lucky to get outa the garage before the axle fell out from under the truck

Catawba county in NC gets millions and millions of Federal tax $$ every year to repair I-40 and nothing ever gets done. There is holes in it that will swallow a ricer. So much for Obama's transparency program.

all the roads are bad, but that one section has claimed some tires....you wont find one smooth road here, unless you travel 10 miles to the back roads
