Snapped the axle shaft need help!
i'm not understanding the question. your axle shaft broke, and so you have a tire, a wheel, a brake drum, and the end piece of the axle shaft all laying on the ground.
from the junk yard, you've gotten either a complete rear end housing (with center diff, axle shafts, back plates, drums, etc) or you got an axle shaft only....
provided the parts are from the same chrysler 9.25 family, you can remove and interchange any pieces from one rear end housing to the other (including axle shafts, brake shoes, brake drums). the only thing you should not remove is the ring and pinion and carrier bearings, as these require a special setup.

wait a minute. how many ends of the shaft fell out?
the outer end only (with the lug nuts on the hub)
or the inner end (with the splines)?
i'd expect the inner end to still be stuck up inside the axle housing, still held in place by the c-clips.
