ok, well its not plugs and not a vac leack, compression check turned out ok, then 3 days ago it started chuging and vibrating while on highway, started pumping bule white smoke out as i was driving, smelt really rich like fuel, puled plugs to see if they were fouled, as i was pulling them out one looked as if the piston smaked into it and broke the flint off, also looked some what melted, replaced it started it up ran ok for 2 seconds then did same thing, pulled plugs again and the same plug on the other side of the motor was broke in the same manner. any thoughts? thought was head gasket but cant imagine both going at same time, also dosnt explain the plug problem, unless i spun a bearing somhow and its throwing off how far my pistons are traveling.

Are you sure you have the right length plug for your engine? For a rod to go bad enough to cause the piston to hit the plug I would think the knocking sound would be deafening.

it was quite loud, sounded like an old desiel farm tractor, and yes i did have the right plugs, also it was the 4th plug in from the front on the passenger side that broke first, then the same plug on the drivers side, plus the smoke was coming out both tail pipes before the second plug broke and its true duels so idk where the somke is coming from

What plug are you running?
Champion QC9MC4 is what I have and it is the OEM recommended for the v-10
I tried another from auto zone and it ran like crap.
But like Miami said, it sound's like the plugs are suspect.
