o/d comes on at start up

Default o/d comes on at start up

ok i know theres a search on here but im on the local library conputer so im limited to time. now that thats out of the way i have a 01 ram 360 had the tranny rebuilt roughly 4 months ago, and its been doin good so far (knock on wood) how ever evry scince it got cold my o/d comes on when i first crank the truck. it does this 50/50 not evry time but pretty often, it still turns off and on with the button, but i was woundering if this is somthin i need to go get takin care of while i still got warranty on the rebuild? or is this coused by somthin else? thanks

im not the tranny expert but

do you shut it off with the o/d on? maybe this could be the reason why its still on when you turn on the truck

Sounds like a possible wiring issue maybe. The O/D should be off every time the truck is started no matter if it was on or not before the truck was shut off.

^like i said im not a trany expert lol, and i know they are supposed to start with it off....i just threw something out there cuz he said he was limited to time

No, the O/D should be on every time you start the truck.
