Have you ever had any transmission(46rh)issues since you got it?

probably b/c it was a farm truck even before i bought it, and was owned by a 20 yr old with a led foot (i see his 3/4 ton common rail screaming up and down the road all the time)

but whoever did the rebuild did it right and deleted the check valve

thx for the replies about what i figured it an axel breaks it breaks only way im gonna replace them atm. wheeled it pretty good with them they seem strong enough, i was running 37x13 Boggers before i bought this new set nittos. If anyone has run a bias ply then went to a radial id like some input on new sounds, couldnt ever hear it before with the boggers cause of how loud they were but when my truck idles down from about 50-60 mph (only in that range of speed) im getting a real weird sound like something going out dont realy know how to describe it thinking its probably the U joints?

When I got mine rebuilt,my transmission guy told me mine was an "absolute freak" when I told him how many miles(368k) it had on it.

I towed a 10,500# mini excavator on a 2 ton trailer... I think there's pictures on one of these towing threads.. and there are some below on my flickr page... might want to add a tranny cooler if your going to be towing alot.. and also upgrade your breaks... I mean if you think about our truck have the same 5.9 that the 2500's and 3500's have don't they? the only difference is frame, axle, and brake sizes
