Question Idle drops and almost dies

I have a 94 Ram 4x4, 5.9L gas, auto, and it has developed an issue that I am not familiar with. It starts up and runs normal, but when I get to a stop sign or come to a stop in gear with the break on it idles really low like its gonna die and the gauges go to zero and check engine light comes on. If I take off or put it in neutral and rev it it runs normal, but check engine light stays on. Thank you.

I cleaned it with gumout TB cleaner spray following the directions on the can. But it still was doing the same thing. It did was dirty and a little sooty black. It is clean now and silver.

until a better answer comes along, I'd give it another shot. My V10 was doing the same thing, I wiped the inside of the throttle body as far past the butterfly valve as I could reach and then had a friend nurse the throttle while I emptied the rest of the can in there. Cured my issue.

I cleaned the T.B. taking more time and care this time. On the first drive since doing so it seems better. Thank you for your answers. I did have the check engine light come on as I pulled back into the driveway. I will look into that.
