Negitive camber is when the top of the tires tilt in an positive camber is when the top tilt's out, usually you can fix it by shiming the spindles but you have a solid axle which would be... the kunckles, not an easy fix.

or ball joints as suggested in last page.. yea gotta read the whole thread before replying.

well guys i kinda fergot that i started this thread haha, anyway an update for you guys that helped me out, i replaced the ball joints on both sides and it diddnt fix the problem, then about a week or two later my passenger side seal started leaking at my friends house, by the time i got it home the same sides u-joint decided to go. So the following weekend i was backing my truck into my garage to fix the u-joint just so i could have it to make it threw all the snow, the u-joint decided it wasnt going down with out a fight and decided to take the yoke out with it. So at this point i was fed up with this axle and decided i wasnt putting anymore money into and i found out my buddy had a 95 2500 parts truck that he said he would sell me. So this past weekend i went and picked it up and i am now in the middle of swaping in some dana 60's and just by looking at them side by side i can tell i am going to be much much happier with these axles under my truck.

nice. your assignment is to take pictures and notes and do a write up on the swap. there's been at least 100 people ask about this but only a couple that have actually done it, and no write up's so far. so you're the MAN on this one. good luck.

i don't suppose you're lucky enough to have 4.10 gears in the 2500's.....

yes i did, they have 4.56's in them with rite around 500 miles so they were just getting broken in when the axle decided to grenade on me.

i was planning on taken pics and i will do my best for a write up, from what i understand it is just a unbolt old axle and bolt in new ones, but there some little things like brake lines and the drive shaft u-joint that i need to take a closer look at and see what do. As for the 4.10's i doubt it cause it was a 360 and a work truck so i doubt the original owner boosted for any extra options but you never know, i going to change the oil this weekend and ill take a look.

I do have a question for you guys though, does anyone know if the yoke on the dana 60's are the same as the ones on the dana 44 or chysler 9.25. I diddnt compare the back ones yet but the front ones look to be the same size. the reason i ask is that when i was disconnecting the front drive shaft on the 60 the one bolt that was actually still there holding it on snapped of and if they are the same i was just going to switch them instead of trying to use a really small easy-out or drilling and retapping.

Nah, there different. I think you will also have to shorten the rear shaft.

i was thinking of just taken it off the donor truck if i can, it was a 360 but im not sure if that means it was the same tranny and t-case, also it is a regular cab long bed and mine is a ex. cab short bed so i have to compare them and see whats up with that idea.
