Just because he bought me my first car? for you to make that statement you must be an as$hole. you dont know anything about me or my family so unless you have something productive to say then shut up. I am a member to a hand full of forums just like this there is always that one jerkoff.
To everyone that gave me honest advise thank you. I am only looking for 2-3 mpg. i would love to get 16mpg. maybe a programmer could get me there?
sorry for cussin and stuff people just **** me off BTW i will be buying my own gas with the money i earn from a JOB...

Cool out steve T, I meant nothing personal with the statement, and I apologize that I offended you.I'm proud of you that you have a job and your own money.I'm really no more an "as$hole"than anybody else.If you'll check out some of my other posts, you will see that I do have alot of productive things to say(IMHO)as, I have been working on automobiles and other mechanical devices for over 38 years.Although I have before,I am not a jerkoff,and being called one is,and could be personal to some, but,I do not take anything online personal. I truly hope you accept my humble apology, Tom Davis
I guess i just really want to get somewhere with this, like i said i am a member of a few forums so i dont know why i would get all bent out of shape over one comment.
I hope you accept my apology for disrespecting someone that has over twice as many years of experience than my age (man your old). i figured you were some 23 year old know it all.

I do accept and we're cool.I'm glad you came back.....Now,let's talk about the age comment,"man your old" I guess I am old compared to you,but when I jump on a repair project, or anything else physical for that matter, I feel like a 23 year old not an almost 52 year old.........Until the next day.LOL

7000/13=~538G
7000/16=437.5G
538-437.5=101.5 G
101.5x2.50=$252
101.5x2.75=$277.75
101.5x3.00=$304.5
those three prices are based on gas prices being at $2.50,$2.75, and $3.00
My school is 17.47 miles away.
17.47/13= ~1.36
2.50X1.36=3.41
2.75x1.36=3.74 > cost per day at 13mpg
3.00x1.36=4.08
17.47mi/16g=~1.09G
2.50x1.09=2.72
2.75x1.09=3.00> cost per day at 16mpg
3.00x1.09=3.27
I go to school for 180 days during the year
3.41x180=613.8
3.74x180=673.2> cost per year at 13mpg
4.08x180=734.4
2.72x180=489.6
3.00x180=540 > cost per year at 16mpg
3.27x180=588.6
613.8-489.6=125.2
637.2-540=97.2 > The difference
734.4-588.6=145.8
I know i will be driving more than that but thats just to show how much i would save just driving to school.
Find any mistakes?
