I am in the middle of a engine swap so I figured that the CPS would be much easier to replace once the engine was out but I will follow up on the progress.

My truck is doing the same thing. idles from 400rpm to about 1200 rpm. A cam position sensor could be causing this. I has a shop put it on a computer and I get a code saying that the TPS voltage is too high. I replace the TPS and still have the code and bad idle. Any help???

disconnect negative battery cable and turn on headlights for 30 seconds to drain the memory in the pcm.

Default same code 24 other problems

I have a 91 B250 Conversion Van with a 5.2 (318) and I have the code 24 which is TPS over or under voltage. The van idles great but sometimes when you try to accelerate hard it studders and dies or just studders on restart it will take off with no problem anyone hade this problem. Replaced fuel filter, coil and sparl plugs runs a little better but same studder problem/ I can hear fuel pump running at idle from under car and also put stephiscope on injecters seem to be OK. Any other ideals out there
