Default emblem removal failure lol

well i removed my pass emblems a while back, finally felt like doing the front and when i took off the ram 1500 the adhesive on the "5" didnt stick, at first i was happy thinking i didnt have to heat a scrape that piece off, then i realized all the water and dirt building up in there made a bubble in the paint...

sand /repaint and clear whole bottom of door (or whole door for better results) let it cure and try to blend with buffer.... rattlecan paint will work but be sure to let it cure for a couple weeks before buffing with very fine compound..

+1 on that. I did my 1/4 panel this fall and it came out much nicer than I expected.

Make sure you wash the area clean and use a wax/grease remover before sanding.

lol I was gonna say that too.... you could always upgrade to the newer flashier ram emblems like I did ...they cover more too... or throw a decal there with engine size or something...if you dont seal it though it will spread and rust most primer is not waterproof
