Think about this, what if the 360 was internally balanced(if possible) would it be more reliable do you think? more power in some way?

5.2
i kno the 5.9 is a good engine but i have heard a couple stories about knocking after running at higher rpms for an extended time. i pull heavy trailers all the time with mine and some times especially in hills it hangs around 3 to 4 thousand rpms but still runs perfect 125,000 miles over probably about a third of that is pulling a trailer in access of 7,000 pounds.

I have 178,000 on my original trans and it still shifts and runs smooth. It leaks like a MF though. I have a lot of gasket replacements coming up this spring. And my vote is for the 318!
