A general rule of thumb is to drive it normally for 500 miles, change the oil and filter, run it for another 500 miles, change the oil and filter, then you can drive the wheels off it for another 400,000 miles!

Truck sounds great!!! Mopar Nationals 2nd gen Ram meet?

Umm not sure. I know the cam break in lube says to run 1000 miles then change the oil and run another bottle. I haven't put it in yet cause I plan to change the oil again after I get all the bugs worked out.

Honestly I don't know. it says to use 30 amp fuses but theres no way they are actually pulling that much. I haven't looked into the draw. How would I do that and I'll see what I can find out. The alt seems to be working fine. I plan to upgrade it anyway so if it dies its no big deal

I still have a couple small tranny line leaks I noticed today. Hopefully take care of that tomorrow. My bro in law mentioned looking at my exhaust maybe some night this week. If he can't do it this week we will mess with it Sunday. I just called summit about my spark box and I guess its made different now. The guy told me he thought the max output was 60000 volts. I did some searching and I found one like it that says 45000. The new ones are only 45000 so I highly doubt the old ones were more. I guess i'm just gonna order a coil thats rated around 50000v and be happy with it. I think I'm gonna get a Mallory

WOW so I have been sitting here adding up some stuff and doing just my Summit bills, PATC, heads, and engine work I am at 3776.88 might be a little less cause I just used 750 for the heads might have been a little cheaper. Thats not counting all the stuff I bought used, ebay stuff, dealer parts, little bs stuff here and there from Advance and bolts from TSC, SCT, or the hughes stuff. I didn't add in the new dash or leds either. I'm probably over $5,000 in engine stuff alone.

Reverse lights. I have them switched in pairs. I'll be adding a led brake / turn / reverse strip as well. If I can't see backing up I have a problem.

I love having 4 lights back there btw. You can have 2 straight back, 2 angled. I personally like how it looks too.

when you install that strip you have to pay close attention to alignment. you want it high enough to be over the bumper, but if it is too high then the tailgate will crush it.
there is about a 1" window to move it up and down to get it high enough to see and not get crushed.

the reverse lights are great when someone decides that they want to get a closeup view of your bumper too.
