1st Choice - Air Lockers front and rear

2nd Choice - Detroit Locker rear, Detroit TT front

3rd Choice - Locker or LSD rear, open front

Hard to beat selectable lockers front and rear, but the cost is very prohibitive to most...

What the hell is wrong with a cast center section? Wouldnt it being cast make it stronger?

Hey, what about a cable operated OX locker in the front?

I posted the reason why already.

But having a cast center section doesnt make it a bad axle. Sorry, I am not familiar with any other type of axle, can you inform me on that?

I think some of you lost the idea i was going after. It going to be a CHEAP way to lock up the front diff and i already have a tru track in the rear and love it never done a one tire fire so i have no clue why you guys are talking about the rear but w/e.

Anyway back to the whole reson why i start the thread. How is the spool going to put any more stree on the front end vs a locker or open end b/c either way the driver side u joint is spinning. I can under stand that it well be hard on the truck if i was on dry pavement but i am smarter then that.

Have you ever had your truck in low range and tried to make a sharp turn? You cant really do it. Having a spool in the front would be like that ALL the time.

How the axle discount on the passager side which means you can jack up the front of your truck and spin one tire and the other well not move b/c it is discounted
