P0753
Good Morning all! I have a 2000 2500 4X4 and the CEL came on this morning and gives a 0753 code. About 18 months ago, I had the tranny fixed. The dealer put a new torque, valve body and solenoids in it. I have only put about 3000 miles on the truck since this service. It's hard to believe that the solenoids are shot again. I've been reading about pcm problems. Should I check the solenoids again or look at the pcm right away.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
SYMPTOM

POSSIBLE CAUSES
P1765 DTC present
Intermittent - 3-4 shift solenoid control circuit
Transmission relay control output
3-4 shift solenoid control circuit open
3-4 shift solenoid control circuit open internal
Fused B+ circuit open
Transmission control relay output circuit open
3-4 shift solenoid control circuit short to ground
3-4 shift solenoid control circuit short to ground internal
Transmission relay output circuit short to ground
3-4 shift solenoid control circuit short to voltage
3-4 shift solenoid control circuit short to solenoid circuits internal
3-4 shift solenoid control circuit shorted to other circuits

That chart will definitely help. After I let it sit at work for an hour or so, I went out and did a little test drive and it shifted through all the gears. I pulled the battery terminal and cleared the codes for the ride home and it shifted fine and no CEL. I will see how it does tomorrow morning. Does this give you any more info as to what it may be?
honestly, my trans did the exact same thing 12 months after a dealer rebuild. It was time for a service anyway, so i pulled the pan and nothing was wrong. i put the pan back on, filled it up and it drove fine. that was almost a year ago now and i still have no problems. sometimes they just like to hiccup like that.
