You might as well change the front seal and the bypass hose while your in there. Have fun!

Yes, and do yourself a favor and at least get a Haynes manual if you don't already have one.

Looks like your pretty much set. BTW make sure you either have a parts store within walking distance or an other set of wheels. You'll be making at least 2 unexpected trips. If you want to practice, go to a bone yard and find yourself a ram. Then have at it. It'll give you and idea at what your up against.

Timing chains are easy...Just PAY ATTENTION to all parts. when i did timing cover, i separated the bolts into different bags. (IE: a/c &alt. bracket bolts...Water pump bolts...etc.)
make sure everything is clean.


but might i suggest a double roller chain?
