Default Wrecked my truck...

On my way home last night I was going down a back road and as soon as I crested the top of the hill a big ford dully was in my lane, so to avoid a head-on crash, I gerked it to the right and right into a ditch. At that time I blacked out and by the grace of god missed a tree by 5feet. Broke the axle in half and slid into a fence, came back acrossed the road into a guys yard. The ford driver never stoped and have 5 people that saw the hole thing happen. Cops are looking for the guy or so they say, so now idk what to do. Here are some pics sorry they are big.Name: 100_2329.jpg

well that blows.
now would be the time to upgrade your front drive shaft to a dana 60, they're a little more stout than a dana 44.
is insurance going to take care of the replacement parts?

it looks like you might be able to pull the bumper back out and get it straight again.

Ah man that sucks! Are you ok? I just wrecked mine too about 2 weeks ago. The threads here somewhere.. At least it is fixable though. Are you looking to turn it into insurance or pay out of pocket? Did you get a good look at it yet?

Hopefully they catch the Ford - what a ******** to leave like that..Even if it was an accident, thats almost unhuman to not stop after something like that..What if you were to get more seriously hurt or killed and he just drove away?

Edit: Yeah, think of it as an upgrade ^..not a fix

It's nice to be 18 cuz I'm fine, truck's not. The light bar is fu**ed as it saved the front-end but everything else looks ok.

me neither, you said blacked out, not you got knocked out. i figured you saw the rams life flash before your eyes and couldn't stand to witness the end of it.

did you go to the doc to get your neck checked out?
