most I've seen were made of pvc plastic or even glass....with stainless plates or coils...and those cheap ebay resistor mods work to trick the computer on fuel injected engines however I actually bought my dual carb vw based kitcar with HHO in mind and just lost interest as its been enough work getting the builders mistakes straightened out...plus I wanted the stan myers one that produced more than it took in amp draw according to what I've seen and read on it using a pulse wave of electricity making the cell work like a huge capacitor releasing hho in the process...of course it was discovered that he threw the schematics of a neon sign ballast in the patented blue prints to throw others off from stealing it...or course the best design would be water injection where it would be split right in the combustion chamber to hho and oxygen from water..

My best design consisted of a section of 4'' PVC with 5 stainless steel switch covers in the order of positive, neutral, negative, neutral, positive. And using Stan Meyer's test results, the closer the plates, the better.

Look up the dry cell HHO gens by a guy that did the smacks booster (EletrikRide on youtube). Those baking soda rigs are crap. Destroys the SS, gives you a pisspore amount of gas and is a royal pain to maintain. You can also check out RadGenH2O. He has a newer (2007/8/9 or something I think) Ram and has gotten some pretty good results. He is using EletrikRides dry cell design. If I ever get an extra $300 I'm going to put one of the dam things in.

I got to go get gas so I can see what kind of mileage I am getting after a major tune up and round filter change.

no ram again... but on another note, did anyone see Trucks? They talked about the 'killer dowel pin' on the 5.9 CTD, behind the front cover. Apparently it likes to work its way out, usually destroying the motor. He drove it back in and made a tab to hold it in there. I've never heard of it before, are the diesel guys here aware of this?

I've heard of it before, but never really researched it since I don't have a CTD But either way I thought their solution was very very awesome! They also showed the trans fix too for 5th gear. I know a friend who had theirs fail. No fun.

It's a pretty well know issue if you are in the diesel world much. You can google it for more info, or go to the diesel section and do a search. Also search for 53 block.
