But that isn't what the whole was about. It WAS about getting around 20 mpg in a LIFTED truck, not getting the best milage. The electric fans I thought gave around 1/4 mpg extra, but I don't remember everything about the episode. I was just a bit stoked to see a 2nd Gen as a project on a show I watch.

given' the estimates they gave on fuel saving versus the cost of upgrades, it would take over 65,000 miles to even break even. That's a long time for a return on investment.
