Default Advise on bed liner???

When it gets warm out I plan on doing the silver on my truck in a bed liner to cover the rust and hopefully protect it somemore. What I want to know is there any products I should stay away from or any that people recomend. Also when I do it im guessing I have to take the clear coat off but do I have to use primer first to help seal and help the liner stick? Im trying to get everything figured out so I dont have to worry bout it later.

I am planning on doing the same thing to my truck in the spring. I am going to sand down the rust, spray it with a rust converter, and then rough up the surface with a scotch pad.

I am going to use Grizzly Grip(www.grizzlygrip.com), which was recommended to me by my fathers friend (A 99 Sport Owner).

never heard of that stuff seems like the same steps to put that on as herculiner but that stuff is cheaper

Yeah i was leaning towrard the hercu;iner seeing as how I can get it off the shelf at the stores in town I didnt know if it was anygood tho. And yeah I bought some duplicolor rust resistance stuff that i think im gonna spray along the bottom of the rocker panels. Ans once the bedliners on would it help to clear coat over the top?
