Default Problems with passenger door ?

Just curious if any one else has had this problem, forwhatever reason my passenger side door will not open, it's almost like my locks arent unlocking, i can use the key to unlock it and it will raise the lock, and i goto pull on the handle it still feels like it's locked.

Just enough resistance on the handle to let you know the handles arent broken, because its the same on the inside handle also.

So i was curious if any one knows any tricks, i know how to break into the passengerside door with a jimmystick or a cloths hanger but i want to permantly fix the problem.

I found a website that tells you "bleak" how to unlock certian model of cars, you might be able to bend a cloths hanger or groundwire or marker flag to the point you need.

http://www.towman.com/carentry/carentrys.html

iv got a bunch of 6guage groundwire and marker flags imma try an see if i can unlock the lock it self from the inside.

try putting your shoulder into the door behind the handle a couple times with it unlocked. the latch could be seized up.

the metal prongs that are hooked to the handle may have fallen/broken off, so when you pull the handle its not pulling anything.

i dont thnk its a problem of it staying locked (since you said the key makes it go up) but just the latches on the handle.

take off the door panal and tell us that you see

Won't open from the inside either? If you can get your panel pulled away on the inside (good luck with that and the door being closed, too) you might be able to release the latch. You should be able to remove the outside handle with the door closed and then grab the cable with a pair of pliers and see if you can open it that way. Maybe? I dunno, haven't had that issue yet.

push in clips. but you have to take the switches off first so you don't break the wires.

you might have to take the passenger seat out to get the door panel to pop out.
