Default It finally happend!!!Tranny out.

So friday I was on my way to central cali from the bay area. I was cruising on the freeway do 70 mph, when i felt my truck lung forward. I thought, "CRAP, it's either my tranny or my torque converter...or both". So i put it in neutral and coasted on to the shoulder and waited to get towed (thanks to AAA). Today I was able to get my truck towed to my tranny guy who's a pretty good friend. Let's just see what happens now. The weird thing is that when I pulled over, I tested it out a bit and the truck never slipped gears it feels and sounds good but revs a little high. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted just in case it happens to someone else later on. I just hope it's not to expensive because monies tight right now.

Your truck died because it was within the blast radius of the San Fransicko cesspool.

True story. I drove out to Monterey, then the Bay Area a couple of years ago. My truck no-started for the first time ever.

Maybe you can go out and find Viper's 300 foot long skid marks!
