I need a new floor jack, any suggestions ?
Alright im looking at my garage and i need a new lift system, any suggestions? iv got new ramps so i dont need those but i'd like suggestions on some floor jacks, jack stands and possibly a decent bottle jack. remember i'v got a lift so i need it taller than the normal autozone crap
I got the sears package two years ago and don't mind it. Comes with two 3 ton jack stands, 3 ton jack, and a creeper for around $99. I just checked their website and its say $150 but I wouldn't trust that for some reason. Give a local store a call if you want to check it out and see what they run in your area.

Edit, in case the link doesn't work, here is the info Item# 00950188000 Mfr. Model# 50188
if it really is the correct price, then give it a little bit... it goes on sale quite frequently.

harbor freight always has decent jacks on sale... check online for sale prices.
might check out summit or jegs too.. I think some jacks they sell at the zone can be fitted with an extension on the lift pad that gives you an extra 8-12"... i'll try and find a link on that...
I'm looking for a new floor jack as well... I'm pretty sure I blew mine up the other day when I did my track bar

Get a floor jack from harbor freight and get yourself some old railroad ties and cut them into foot long pieces. They work well at getting height and they are pretty sturdy.

Thanks for the replys guys, yea i dont go cheap on my tools. right now i'v got a typical floor jack but it's simply not enough and i dont trust stacking blocks cause iv actually had a truck fall onto jackstands and it honestly scared the **** outta me cause when it fell it stoped about 2 inches off my face ( i was under the frame )
imma look into sears, i buy alot of stuff from there and along with harbour fraight.
