Default Another SCT vs Superchips thread

I have looked through the tuner threads and have some questions. Is there a website for the SCT? I have emailed hemifever, but wondered if anyone had some more info. My truck is not highly modded, which I read about the SCT and heavy mods. I just have the K&N FIPK right now. Im planning to do the hughes, true duals and maybe the Harland rockers. Which tuner is best for me? Oh ya, Ive also got some 285's, so it would be nice to change the calibration, but isnt a deal breaker. Im just basically looking to get rid of the death flash and add some power.

Can I check codes with the SCT? What does SCT stand for? I have found a website on the flashpaq by Superchips, just nothing for the SCT.

Thanks

What are the benefits of a SCT? And does the deathflash have anything to do with it?

some of the good things is that he makes custum tunes to your work you have done to the truck so say you longtubes and intake, he will change the tune so your truck benifits more off those mods, also it will cure the death flash for alot more umph

and he takes the torque management off which is a big thing too that superchips dont offer

Torque management off is amazing if you have a built tranny for it. Doing it on the stock tranny will add wear and tear alot faster. You can really ....reallly feel the shifts with TM off.

As last said, hemi writes complete custom tunes for your ram. You send him a list of every performance part you have on your rig and he writes a tune to encompass what youve done.
