Default Rear main seal leak, getting worse.

Hey guys, after doing the plenum and pouring Diesel through it, the rear main seal must be shot. Its getting worse, for the first week it didnt leak at all, then it was about the size of a dime, now its about the size of an orange. I changed the oil and put High Milage 10w-40 in it, thought maybe a little thicker oil would help, but has not.

Anyone used this stuff?

I am kinda out of options here, and I am sick of it leaking.

Why not just change the rear main?

no personal experience, but the bar's is going to expand the rubber to tighten up the seals. its worth a try.

if that doesn't work, the rear main isn't too bad to replace, other than having to remove the starter thats torqued at 50 million pounds.

HUH? You don't have to touch the tranny. just drop the oil pan, remove the oil pump and there's your rear main.

On a bunch of Fords, you have to remove the transmission to get to the rear main seal.
