you have a 5.2 so you get 50mm tb stock has 50mm plates so just cut your air horn and try to cut down or mill out the hour glass

Well i did a tune up this weekend, Plugs wires cap and rotor. Also dropped in a K&N air filter.
Took it for a spin to make sure everything went as planned and it did, but my god , this truck has no *****. Tried to break the rear end loose on wet pavement and it couldnt do it. Ive pretty much givin up on this truck. This summer, im gettin a new one. I do have the plenium leak, that was obvious, but im not gonna bother unless i have a real change of heart.

As for the plenum leak, take off your air cleaner, remove the throttle body, and shine a flashlight down into the plenum, if you see oil pooling you have a leak, if there is just a filmy residue you are okay (Make sure while checking your truck is on level ground). Even if you do not have a leak most of us on the site still recommend using a hughes plenum fix, or APS plenum fix to prevent the problem from ever happening, because it will eventually otherwise.

As far as throttle body spacers go, they are junk, and do nothing. Our kegger style intake manifold already holds a massive amount of air, a throttle body spacer will not benefit the 318/360 motor what so ever.

If you haven't already, you need to go down to Advanced Auto Parts, or Autozone and pick you up a Haynes or Chilton Manual for your truck, they provide instructions, pictures, and all torque specifications.

And be sure to search this forum, loads and loads of info.
I have a 95 and it has the death flash.

You do realize it's a truck right? Your not wearing bear goggles and thinking it's a sports car? These trucks, as well as any trucks aren't meant for high performance. They are meant to wrap a chain to a tree and pull that SOB down. If you want a pavement burner get a sports car. The next truck you buy is gonna be the same thing.

I get kinda peeved about this. I was reading the reviews of the truck on a car review site and almost all of them were people bitching about performance. Damnit, it's a truck not sports car.

You might have more problems than you think, mine will lay a nice dark 25-30' strip from a dead stop. Double it if I power brake it. Its basically a bone stock 318 with 3.55 open rear diff, and 20's.

I dont know. It runs fine, and its not like i have huge tires on it. they are 265/70/r16, so its not like im tryin to burnout with 35's...but they are pretty new tires so thats a factor too.

Plenum is your biggest problem, you would be surprised how much power you get back from fixing that.
