Default Transmission Module?

I was wondering where the module was located on my 95 ram 1500 5.9 liter, i'm thinking that this might be my problem, i start my truck cruise for a little bit, then maybe park for a bit and when i leave my tranny gets stuck in 3rd gear until i put her in neutral shut here down and start here back up, then it seems fine. i actually plan on soaking about 500 to 600 hundred into my beast come tax time see if i cant get her back into tip top shape. love my truck. go RAM

I'm lost on what you're looking for and what the issue is. You park the truck and leave it in D so it stays in 3rd gear until you put it in N and try to restart it?

The PCM controls shifting of the tranny.

The PCM is on the passenger side firewall. The PCM in a 95 does basically nothing with the tranny but engage the OD and torque converter lock up. You have a 46RH so it is mostly hydraulic controlled.

So does that mean that my tranny not shifting is a low fluid problem? Or could it be the Neutral Saftey Switch cause i have fluid leaking from there and the Pan. TO much 4 wheeling i guess, Getting it fixed from a local transmission guy so i hope this does the trick..

All the neutral safety switch does is only allow you to start it in park and neutral. If you haven't checked the trans fluid do it.

Well this is where im at guys, i got my tranny fluid changed its been rebuilt 1 1/2 ago, theres 1st 2nd and Drive and Overdrive on it, it's a automatic, so after a little driving then maybe stopping at the gas station and putting it into park and pulling out i will put it in OD pullout and i can feel it go 1st then 2nd then 3rd and its doesnt shift after that, fluids are good and there is no slippage of gears i usually just slide it into neutral and then shut it down wait a sec then turn it over again and WALLA it will shift again ok but if i where say 4 wheeling and heavy usage of the gas pedal where involved then it'll get stuck in second gear, if it is a PCM where can i find one and at what price? thanks any ideas would be greatlly appreciated thanks..
