Default camshaft

Just wondering if anyone is running a Xtreme Energy XR258HR-12 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Only Lift: .480''/.480'' Duration: 258°/264° RPM Range: 700-4800. If so what kind of gains did you see I have one of these sitting on my shelf and i'm debating on installing it or not.
I have a 2000 ram 1500 2 wheel drive with a 5.2L

That cam will give you a nice little boost, I'd guesstimate about 40 HP at the crank and probably a bit better off the line. If you get the idea to run 1.7 rockers with it, double check the piston to valve clearance.

it a good idea to get new lifters,, and most likey you will damage your cam bearing and need to replace that and do that you will need a tool,,, also a new t-chain
