Better gas mileage please!
The key to getting better gas mileage from a vehicle is to first do a walkaround it looking for obvious problems like low tire pressure or poor wheel alignment. If it says 'Dodge' anywhere on the vehicle...well, you're out of luck.

I have been getting better and better mileage this year after gutting the cat. I'm sure I'll be replacing it again, but for now I'm enjoying the great mileage. I drive 60-65mph on the Interstate and don't baby it much at all around town. I just finished a 1600mile trip towing a 1700 lb load on a single axle boat trailer and got 14.5mpg on the last 850miles of the trip.
DON'T use the cruise control if you want good mpg, I just keep my foot steady and let the truck slow down climbing hills and speed up going downhill.

I can get 12-13 around town and 15-16 highway if I just drive easy on it. If I drive aggressive I usually get 8-10 city and 12 highway.
It has a lot to due with the way you drive and if you dont have a lead foot.
