well knowing how flowmasters can be drone masters and tend to rot out kinda quckly id go with the 409 40. the 40 is a bit louder than the 44, and ive heard the 10 is hard to get an inspection sticker with... i just did a 409 40 (3 inch single in, 2.5 inch dual out) on my 5.2 and it sounds amazing. best part is on the highway it settles down a bit and theres no drone or headaches.

 

I have a set of 40s that I put on my jacked 4x4 Chevrolet in 98 and I just had the pipes redone on Sat. the Flowmasters are in perfect shape just a little surface rust. I am not kind to that truck either.

 

Alright I went to my exhaust shop today and I'm gettin the 40 series. With my pipes coming out at a 45 degree andle behind the rear tires. Totally stoked!! Getting installed on Wednesday! Haha moms gunna be pissed bc my trucks gunna be loud!! Thanks guys!!! And thanks for the tip to go with the 40s
