are you talking about the resistor in the pigtail for the IAT sensor to fool the pcm into thinking that the air is colder in the intake then it actually is? it might get you a couple ponies but i doubt you would notice it. and i've heard that it only works when it is hot outside. seems like a waste of time to me. you would probably be better off relocating your IAT to the intake tube on your air cleaner.
To the OP, I don't have one so I can not comment on their effectiveness. I think the only time you may notice the gain is at WOT. Non the less if you want to try it for yourself I have some links on how to make your own. I actually have to go but ill find / send them later.
ya i have found out with a little bit more research its a waste of time but i am looking into relocating my iat sensor in the intake have any of you guys done this maybe have a pic so i can see how and where u mounted it thanks!
^ Let me know if it works if you do it, but I heard that the IAC relocation mod actually tricks the pcm into running a bit richer. Hence wasting more gas. But like I said, let me know if it works.
