I did the oil, I think the lowers are stock or not to far off. They we wasted. Uppers were only a couple of years old. They were ok, but I decided too do all of them.

I wish I would have thought about the axel seals, while I have it apart. It is a 4X4 of course. There is a mountain between me and work with 7 percent grade. It can get fun at times. But the is Idaho. It is pretty tough to find a 2wd here.

advice - don't hit your finger with the bfh.
sympathy - you'll be really sorry if the smash your finger.

tip - no personal experience on removing ball joints on the dodge, but i did a 4runner one time. i used a pickle fork and idler arm removing to get the tapered section to let go, and removed the entire knucle with ball joints still in the pressed in spot. i took the knuckles to the machine shop and got them to press them out with the big boy press. it only took them about 60 seconds.

i think you're going to need a press of some kind.
if you need bearings or axle seals, this is the time.

You really need a press......Really....

EDIT..
DHV it's funny, the dodge ball joints are pressed into the axle yoke on the 01 D60's
but my friend just did his on a 01 F250 and they are pressed into the knuckle on the D60.
Mine took 3 hours
his took 30 minutes on the press at work...LOL

As far as anyone knows, is there a way to grease the hub bearings? They look sealed, but in good shape.
