well first off i got a ton of body work that needs to be done, i got the truck cheap because there was a worn out bearing in the transfer case, so I had my mechanic fix that, and now to the body work. I can get some pics in the morning, if you wanna see what im talking about, but its dinged and scratched all over. Its black so every little thing shows. I'd like to have it repainted in the spring, but do the body work myself. then move on to lift kits, exhaust systems, tires. etc... any recommendations ?

Wrong order of attack , lift kits and tires are last(not to mention gearing) but the first thing to do is fix the plenum, replace o2's and the cat. Then move on to the OEM suspension/steering/drivetrain, exhaust, body work. JMO

For a lift kit it all depends how big you wanna go. Here are the lift sizes and tires that will fit the lift without rubbing

Stock height - 31x10.50's (265's)
2" level - 33x11.50's (285's)
3" lift - 33x12.50's (305's)
5" lift - 35x12.50's (315's)

If you go 5" you should probably regear your axles because the truck will be a dog. Lots of people like flowmaster mufflers and the magnaflow high flow cats for their exhaust systems. For tires it's whatever kind of driving you do. If you're using it for road use only just get some a/t's but if you plan on going offroad a lot go with some m/t tires.

Yeah, do common tune up stuff before you do anything else.
