yeah i know what you mean..but ive tried to pull those bolts before..there like T27 IIRC..and they aint going anywhere LOL..think that lower facia is strong enough?

the facia thats the splash shield attaches to....even though i tore off my splash shield like right after i bought the truck

Oh yea it's alot stronger than it looks, it's an arched design which makes it ALOT stronger than a flat surface. i bet you 100 bucks if i did end up ripping off my foglight's the mounts for them would still be on the bumper and it'd just break the hindges off

awesome that what i was hopping..but yeah..i plan on mounting mine in the identical spot you did..actually thats where i wanted them

and cause there sealed beams and the design of the shell..they can take one hell of a beating

yes sir, and the wiring is easy as hell to hide, i just slid mine inside the bottom plastic shell for the bumper and you cant even tell they'er even there untill you pop the hood and see them coming up from behind the radiator

i wanna try and set em back a bit if possible then that way the license plate takes the abuse and not the lights

cause people have tendencies to like to hit my front plates idk why

mine dont look like it but they'er about an 1" 1/2 behind my license plate cause i was thinking the samething about letting the plate take the brunt of the inpact.
