Default No oil Pressure

My truck was running fine, I rev her up and then my oil pressure just dropped. I replaced the oil pressure sensor and checked the oil and I still have no oil pressure. Any Ideas?

Get a mechanical oil pressure gauge to eliminate the electronics as an issue.

My roller rockers are ticking really loud. I removed the valve cover and turned it on, no oil is visible.

you might just try replacing the oil filter. its a hell of a lot easier than dropping the pan.

and it does have oil in it - right ?
probably oil pump time. maybe's it clogged up, maybe it broke.

I have an extra oil filter. I will try that right now and let you all know if it worked or not. Thanks.

I removed the oil filter and fired her up, no oil coming out of the oil filter port. Could the oil pick up filter be clogged or the oil pump failed?

x2 on oil pump.

might as well replace your rear main seal since you have it out.

I OH my engine three years ago, had the engine out and in my living room as I worked on it. I replaced the oil pump with a High Volume oil pump. Would the oil pump break in an instant?

Did you install a hardened drive shaft for the high volume pump?
