Default so getting new heads what do you think is a better option

So looking on a new site i found the other day at some new cylinder heads.

do you guys think a basically all stock aluminum heads with 1.92 x 1.62 valves are worth $1500, or would a remand cast iron heads with 1.92 x 1.62 for $700 be better.

The remand ones could be made into a 2.02 x 1.62 for a extra 100 bucks so that would give a little more power over the aluminum but would they hold up in the long run if i did a 408 stroker kit.

i could also upgrade to a indy cylinder head or edelbrock but i dont think they are worth the 1300 bucks for basically all stock parts

i don't think your going to get an extra $800 worth of mojo from the aluminum heads. unless money is no object, then its just a waste of money.

also, rather than get reman'd oem heads that are prone to crack, consider getting "new heads", with redesigned castings that have thicker materials in those key places.

A few guys on here say they like them.

But i was mostly wondering if the aluminum heads were worth it. I dont think they are so i think ill do what you said and get a new style head.

it will be more money but worth it in the long run

yep thats them. You can get them a hundred dollars cheaper, they are called "Iron Ram" 2.02's like you want. No need to spend the extra hundred for the available lift you will never use.
