Default axle questions

Are the axles on a 2500 diesel the same on the gassers?

There is a front and rear set for sale locally with 4:10's for $500 and I am considering this swap.

No the gassers got Dana 60's front and rear and the diesel/V10's got a Dana 60 up front and a Dana 70 or 80 rear.

I believe there was a hybrid 70/80 that was used on some single wheel diesel 3500s.

The front d60 axle will bolt right up no mods needed, but the rear d70 has 3'' wide spring perches as the 9.25 has 2.5'' wide perches. If you have good welding skills all you would have to do is cut the old perches off and weld new one's on. And I can't remember what it is but you have to do something with the rear drive shaft. For that price it's well worth it.
