A........ Prius!

Just kidding. I'm hoping that I'll be able to step into a 4th gen, but at the very least I'll go to 3rd gen. More than likely a 1500, but I would entertain the idea of an 07.5 CTD...

Word on the wire says differently about Cummins sticking with Dodge. Several little birdies have chirped on the fact that since Ford owns Cummins and that Fiat refuses to deal with Ford; there is a very high possibility that Mahindra will be making Dodge's diesel motor in the very new future...

That'd suck. Welp it'll give CAT a good reason to step in allison tranny CAT engine on a dodge body would KILL anything on the road.

But we got about as much chance of getting CAT to come over than we do allison lol

Till it costs more to repair then it does to buy a new used one. or when the world ends in 2012.

Your little birdie needs to do it`s homework... Ford has NEVER owned Cummins, they did have as much as 30% in the early 90s, but they sold all of their shares by the mid 90`s. Dodge and Cummins have some neat tricks for 2016 - twins, SOHC(possibly DOHC), VVT, and a much more efficient injection system.

Allison is no longer owned by GM, so I would imagine a little sweet talking could bring them on board...But then again, the ASIN 6 speed in the C&C trucks would be easier to get and IMO is just as strong as the A1000 Allison.

EDIT: Almost forgot, my good ol` 94 12 valve will be with me till the day they pry my cold dead fingers from the steering wheel lol.
