Failing U-joints/goin out?
On my ujoints on my driveshaft when they went bad they also started making the clicking noise.
As a reference for anyone that suspects bad u-joints on their drive shaft, here's a couple pictures of my sisters after it fell off at highway speed and got run over by an 18 wheeler. My guess as to why it broke the way it did is that the tail end slipped out of the bands on the rear axle and when it contacted the ground (with the motor at 2000 rpm) it twisted the yoke on the transfer case hard enough to snap it. Her husband said that he didn't feel it leave the truck, he just saw it in the rear view mirror as it bounced under the big rig.

what about sizes? or is it universal? i really dont know anything on u joints and what nots. Would this fit, http://theujointstore.com/55154.html? i tried to find some but they are listed with size not for vehicle model.
greasable U joint's from autozone $8.99 a piece, grease gun $14, tube of grease like $5, not having to deal with sheriff's picture priceless.
I just did mine a few days ago on the rear driveline, i have the E clips tho no straps but price difference shouldnt be too much different, and you do want to replace the straps with them if you have that kind.
also just tell them year model engine 2w or 4w they'll know the size and should stock them in store.
