Default 97 Ram 1500 hauling 69 Plymouth

I was on the market for a Mopar project to tinker around with. I originally was looking for a Challenger, Charger or Roadrunner. I came across this wagon project that was just too cool and was able to strike a deal.

I borrowed my friend's trailer to bring this car from Massachusettes back home to NJ. I have to say, the Ram performed well. Better than expected, actually. I normally average about 13.5mpg on the highway with no trailer or weight in the bed.

I got 12.6 on the 200 mile trip up with the empty trailer. I got 10.5 on the way back dragging the trailer with 4000 pounds of 1969 Plymouth station wagon on the trailer. Never ran hot even pulling the hills in I-95.

Here's a couple pics from the adventure.

Can you tell us a but more about Frankenstien? Is it a coupe with a station wagon rear roof or what? Looks like some Vista Cruiser pieces.
Interesting concept. I'd fill in the pop out quarter windows and make it into a Plymouth Nomad, or is that a Roamad?

This was originally a super solid 4 door Satellite Station Wagon. A 2 door Satellite gave its life to make this wagon a 2 door. A Roadrunner donated the hood. I got to see all the pictures from start to where it is now and all I can say is, this guy put a lot of time and effort into this project.

Yup, it was on ebay and that is where I saw it. I got in touch with the seller and we worked it out.
