Default Same problem
I recently acquired my dads 1990 Dodge D50. It has a small block mopar 318 and an edlebrock carburetor. Replaced the battery, put clean fuel in it, clean the fuel pump, ignition and electric fuel pump. It starts but won’t idle. As soon as I let off the gas it dies. Where should I go from here?

That's been swapped. D50 only came with four cylinders from the factory. Is it carbed? Throttle body injection?? Other?

It has an edelbrock carburetor a Holly fuel pump and msd injection on it.

That's not a D50! A D50 is made by Mitsubishi. Look at the carburetor and see if the choke is working. May need to raise the idle some. How long was it since it last ran?

I think that's a D150.....

Just googled the D50 and D150. Definitely not a D50. Why would the title and registration say D50?
