lifting 1998 sport 4x4
i have to do the plenum as well but i wanna get the truck up higher, its on 20 inch mb's and 35 inch toyo muds, and it has a rancho leveling kit (i think, judging by the rancho shocks). so i want to go up about 5 to 6 inches but i dont wanna spend a fortune, are there tricks to doing this or do you pretty much have to fork out 1000 bucks for a kit that has to be put on by a profesional?
lifting ur truck is money, unless u own some fabrication shop, for 6 inches ur gonna spend upwards of $800. and even thats cheap. no short cuts there bud. and if you know ur truck and trust yourself to do the work right, then put it on yourself. it will take a little more time but 400 bucks stays in ur wallet not payin for labor. look up topgungustomz.com
they got some decent stuff, not paying for the name, if u know what i mean.
and about the spacers. there ok, can save a few dollars using them, but will cost in performance and what not. dnt know what ur lifting ur truck for tho, show or off road

Kents, spacers change the characteristics of the coil spring. You are limiting spring travel, hence changing the weight charactericstics of the spring.
