So... Silly question.... I removed my airbox with my carb cleaner in hand, I removed the TPS and replaced it.... now there is a sensor looking directly at me pointing straight toward the front of the truck... I removed the two bolts holding it in place and it didnt want to come off, so I didnt tug... Is this the IAC, if so how do I remove it> Thanks again guys... If anyone lives close to Nebraska, or Council Bluffs Iowa when my truck is fixed we are all getting tanked on me at the casinos!!!! Thanks again!

The sensor pointing towards the front of the truck is the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor. You have to tug on it a little to get it off. Remember to put the little rubber elbow on the bottom back on the throttle body when you put it back on.

The IAC is on the back of the throttle body. Yakkier had a great thread on how to clean it.

On almost all vehicles the CKS is located somewhere on the transmission bellhousing or near the joint between the tranny and engine. Please fill out your profile info, it makes it easier for us to identify what truck you have.

It is mounted to the back of the passenger side engine block. It is a PITA to get to.
