was already gutted and it has a flowmaster muffler on it. He said he saw no obvious leaks and I should be breathing great with that setup. So I guess I'll have autozone rerun the codes. But first I will take off my negative batter cable before I leave work and see how long it takes before it resets the code. With the cat gutted I may always have a check engine light.

 

It should be ok on the trip unless the cat completely clogs. Just bring a hack saw lol.

 

shouldn't clog, it is fully gutted. he banged on it to check, then went ahead and cut a hole in it to run a rod through it to double check and it is completely hollow. so is should have no cat worries at least!
