Mine was cracked and peeling as well so I ordered a new one. I'm tired of the gray honeycomb insert though and I would like to paint it black but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. Seems like it would be a lot of work sanding each individual honeycomb so the paint will stay.

Maybe sandblasting it would rough it up enough. Hopefully it wouldn't destroy it.

How did purpl do his?

if you shoot it with primer before you apply the paint it will hold the paint better than just a scuff sanding. i saw one in lmc that has chrome mesh and it looked good i may actually buy that one

To paint the plastic honeycomb inserts i would just spray them down and clean them with a really good degreaser. Then paint. Unless you wanna sand it down lol...My fingers would be hurting after sanding each individual honeycomb. And id probly get really agravated.

Yeah I saw one like that on LMC too. It looked good but I think that much chrome will clash. How did you paint the gray part of the bumper? I want that to be black as well. I hate the gray parts on these trucks. I ordered the same headlights you have too.
