Default Grille

How do you take out the factory grille inserts in a 2001 dodge ram?

Take grille off and rip them out. Common sense applies here.

you dont have to be so harsh purpl, i believe you can reach everything with the grille on, theyre kinda plastic welded on and you can take some pliers or cutters and snap where its connected

When I painted my grille, I took the inserts out by grinding away the plastic "welds".

Sorry to jack, but how are the new aftermarket ones held in, double side sticky tape? or hardware?.. Or if you take them out to paint them how do you reinstall them, plastic epoxy? just curious if you ppl ever had problems after tearing them out
